I saw a few arborists as work while I was walking around Saigon. One trimming a royal poinciana (I think) above a road and the other fifty feet up in what I believe was an African mahogany. They do things slightly differently here. No gloves, hard hats, chaps, or, notably, shoes. And the fellow fifty feet up in the mahogany didn't have any sort of harness. Pretty wild stuff. I watched him for a while, and he was good, but it's pretty bold to be doing that without a harness.
